Change backup drive

Genie Timeline recommends that all data is stored in a safe removable location for storage purposes.

  1. Open the Dashboard.
  2. Under Manage Backup, click Change backup drive.
  3. Select the backup location.
  4. Alternatively, select the Select a different destination option if you wish to browse for a specific folder.
  5. Click Save to save the new location.

Notes:

  • When changing the backup drive, the backup will restart. You can keep your older backup for archiving purposes.
  • You can specify the name of the backup folder you wish to backup to by using Rename Backup Folder.
