Rename the Backup Folder

By default, Genie Timeline places the backup in the selected backup drive or path in _Genie Timeline folder. You can rename this folder from the following steps:

To rename the backup folder:

  1. In the Select Backup Drive page (Step 2 of the first time setup, or by going to Manage Backup → Change backup drive), click on Rename Backup Folder.
  2. In the text box, type in the backup folder name.
  3.  Click Save to save changes.

Notes:

  • To restore the default naming, click on Use default name.
  • You can add your computer name or username to the backup folder by enabling Append Computer Name or Append username.
